The Monee Monee creek winds its way down from Mt Strathbogie into the Lima East valley, of all the streams that descend from the range, this is the clearest, the brightest, the most talkative. Besides the creek, the tree ferns are twenty feet tall in places, the valley steepening, stepping its way upwards through granite boulder vast to Lightening ridge and the richer soils of the Strathbogie plateau. This is the first of a series that morphed into landscapes using water-based inks that ran beautifully with an over wash of water colour.
